Im not workin today.
Not because im lazy.

IM not workin becoz i injure my troubling spine again while jogging last sunday n today is gonna be the day where im gonna spend HUNDREDS of dollars just to so call repair it.oh my....

My band...False Pause,is doin pretty well...we haf 2 comps n 3 gigs for the month of January n February 2009.
y'day, 04.01.09 was the auditions of Talentquest '09.
i think it went pretty well...if we dun get any further,stagewise, i guess it must be the music.other than dat,i hope we get to rock the finals @ ROCK Auditorium @ Suntec.

Erfie,Fahmi,Ashek,Firdaus,Wan...oh thats my bandmates from False Pause.
Mamat,Nizam,Nadia,Liza.... i wonder how they are doin now...
Mama just got back from Mekkah n she is doin all fine alhamdulillah...

Hey Hey!
Im goin home in a few minutes time now to start my long weekend with bandmates,frens n family to celebrate my a-quarter-century bday at ma chalet.
So ya.i got nuthin to say.but...
That mixed feelin of joy...sadness...all come toegether suddenly n i just remembered sumthin...
2 yrs ago...at the stroke of midnyte,while receivin well wishes sms(s),i was strummin my guitar playin the song "Happy Birthday" n singin it to maself when after a few repetitions of the line "Happy Birthday To You", my dad....sang it to me like he always does on every of ma b'dae.
I heard him sing to me "Happy Birthday to you".n suddenly his face kinda like flashed in front of me with a smile.
That was the best birthday gift i got since the day he left us.
As soon as i started to weep,his face was gone.
Maybe he dun want me to....
Maybe he want me to enjoy my birthday every year.
But its so hard...
As im typin this,i kinda feel like he's near to me watchin me type so fast to whatever heartfelt...
Daddy, i miss u....

Hello =)

Its been a happy 2 weeks or so for me...
Alot of things happen n its goin like the way its suppose to be.

Band updates :
We found a new frontman!
Easily said,we have no worries now.we r a hppy bunch!
on the 15th of April,we playe our last gig with the old frontman who left us with no reason given.wonder why...
We didnt do pretty well.Lack of practice.n The Shredder didnt sound as gd.
We receive a lot of comments from the people who came to our gigs,who hear us during jammin n of coz from some musicians.
Well i think with a new frontman, these ppl will be smilin even more.
On 1st of May,we had our gig at Home Club.ITS THE BESTEST SO FAR!!!!!!
I love it,the band love it n the ppl who came love it!
It just gave us that different Aura ya know....more smiles....more confident...less mistakes...a gd after gig session.....den to a gudnyte slp.
Definitely better then the previous ones.

Hafiz,its olryte dat u didnt come down coz there's always another.
Edjah,tnx for informin the kentals regardin ma chalet.U'll be a gd organizer.

4 days later....

Nizam was werkin so the rest of DM met up at Chinatown mrt or rather Anaki Studios at 7pm.
All of us were kinda tired as we r all from werk n sch.
The rush made me abit nervous but sumhow....it was all ok..
@ 7.10, it was DM's turn for the Audition.
We went in,plug in,played Gabby,n....

"I really4 love this song and i must get this song recorded!this song has got what it takes to get radio airplay!" - Judge

We were stunned!
n maybe bcoz its nice,we were asked to play another song...so were again "nanananana" with hard-fi.

n yes...we r now in the semis of Stardust '08.....

The past 2 weeks....
has been an undescribable one for me.
Let's start.
1 - The Finals.
It was beyond ma wildest imagination to actually go to Zouk n be on that stage rockin my way...(not really)
Being one of the band finalist was good enuff...good enuff for DM.
Havin frens around to support u,was one great moment to experience.
1989,madhatter,peer pleasure,modus oprandi,gorges 27,freeloaders n scar driven... they are all household names in the local music acts but Dreamy Mellow??? We r just like 3 mnths plus old n sharin the stage with them in the finals was one hell of an experience.
Im pretty sure we at least did better than one of 'em.
Im proud of my bandmates.Although abit nervousness shown...we did well....
No placing,No Problem... We r goin all the way DM...

To ma lovely fiance,although there was a 'lil trouble at the start regardin the ic,u were all calm n wasnt panickin.
im proud of ya...coz at least u noe dat if ure panickin,i would too...n that wont be gd...i love u...u look incredibly tall n gorgeous dat nyte!

Hafez,fai,ejah,hairil,boy,zul,faizal,taufik n the rest was there to support me n they paid ok!its not free...
I wanna thank u all for the support u've given to me n ma band.becoz...for those support....we actually played well in 4 days later...to be continued

So yea,Dreamy Mellow's ferst public appearance wasn't that bad after all.
We played 4 songs and 1 of which is the original Gabriella.
Usin the mail to mail approach,i sent out invites to frens to watch us play BUT i didnt expect THAT HUUUUGE crowd on our set!!
I was super duper happy BUT we kinda took along time to set up.my fault.sorry.
Overall...comments from frens and whoever...most of them said it was ok.N most of them love the song Gabriella n Tied Up Too Tight.

Thank you Fiance for bein there for me all the time AND with the video cam.Wah sayang sama lu!

Dreamy Mellow made it to the Finals of Talentquest '08.
Its kinda mix feelin...ya noe that teary eyed happines PLUS abit of disappointment afterwards.
Sometimes its hard to explain yaself.
Its simply hard to defend when others keep attackin.
I was shot,one after another.Seriously i cant take it.
N it came from someone close.... n yea n i mean THAT close.
Ok drop it.
Well buddy,just wancha to know that,i dun wanna let a dumb band misunderstanding drift us away.

Well fer the rest of ya,whouis actually readin this(MY EXPRESSION WALL),
Dreamy-Mellow will be performing their in their debut gig at

Hello to all the people of City Of Delusion..
Its been long...real long since i update ma blogg.(told cha um not that blogger kind)

My brother in law's dad passed awai in late august..
My uncle passed away in mid september on the ferst day of Ramadhan...
Deaths....its gettin scarrier...
Everytime i see the empty grave b4 the corpse is brought down...the thought of repentin is always there..but once i leave the cemetery...everythin is gone...instantly..
Weird...human thinkin...human lives...never away from sins...forgettin where they came from n what thier promise to Allah was...

Im tryin hard to change..but it seems hard like i cant..
Wait...maybe i didnt try hard enuff...i hope its not too late.

Ok ma nephew Daniel is growin well...the cutest so far among the 7 Kiddos..

I sprained ma ankle again last monday playin in the "CAGE"...

Im happy that um meetin ma Army buddies today...its been a long time...

i wonder what apiz n amat n acai is doin.its been pretty long since i saw them.

Hi all,

Im very happy today.y???
Is there a need to have a reason to be happy??
hehe.
oh yea...weekend was fun although i didnt have much to do.
But as long as ma lovely fiance is around,my time is well consumed.
On saturday,we planned to go out but we decided to stay home on that coool saturday to watch Dvds and have dinner together at home.
Excited as i am to wear my new boots on Sunday,IT RAINED!
But it didnt dampen my spirits as me n fiance walk thru the drizzlin rain to Dunearn Sec.
Well yea...i did put the ball in the net with my first kick in my new Nike boots.but it was b4 the start of the match.just to make maself feel confident.heehee
It was pretty slippery but we had fun for a damn well fought match.we drew 1-1.im happy with the result although i didnt score.i assist though..not really...it was my shot initially but Jai tap in in the rebound.
see...Happy moments...no fighting,nuthin...all went well...

Its been raining..

Its been sumtime since i blabber nonsense here..
Aite so here goes...

On Friday the 13, me n wifey pokok n 9 other buddies n frens went to Suntec to catch Harry Potter's latest movie.
Kinda fun...the movie as usual neva dissappointin....
Took pics n pics n more pics...
It wasn't quite of a nice day actually.
Wifey Poks resigned n yea...its real sad...
So after movies,i had to cheer her up all the wae till the next mornin n i hope she feels better now.It truly is Friday The 13th for her i guess...

Then came saturday.
It was a nice,pretty mornin.with wifey pokok.Was at home whole afternoon n met WP again at nyte ,we had Japanese food.which was unexpectedly awesome.
So hugs n kisses as we say gdbye coz she's leavin for Malacca the next day...

Its sunday...a sunny sunday..
time really flies...n ma only nenek had left us fer a year long already.
Pretty fast eh....i miss her....
WP went to meet Hang Tuah so she cant make it to Cik Eyot's place...
Oh ya, i realised sumthin,wanna say sorrie to Ma cute cuzzin Lydia.
She's been wantin to take pics wit me on ma engagement day but i just cant find that second fer that flash.
K i promise one day,we will take loads of pics...loads..n i mean LOADS!!!!
Im glad... ma cuzzies are all cumin closer to me...coz fer awhile last time,i thot i lost 'em..
To top things up,haha.... I scored one of the Bestest goal in ma life!!
I dribbled past 2 midfielders,3 defenders, AND the goalkeeper n tappin the ball into goal!!!

Dats how i felt yesterday.From the moment i step into the office till nyte.
I fell aslp a couple 'o times in the office.(Terlelap)
I even knock ma head on the keyboard...hmmm....
Den at 3 i went out to sent out threads at Aljunied.Thats went i bump into a weird Makcik Taxi driver...haha...nvm...
I reach ma home at 8 after dinner wit Fiance.
I was supposed to meetup wit Mr Taikman n Mr Hans Bruns but i felt waaayy toooo Sleepy again suddenly.
Sorrie bruthas...cant help it...i fell aslp at 9.
Now as im typin this entry..ive been yawnin a couple 'o times too.
Its been sleepy this few days...

Oh ya...n i have actually cancelled ma guitar lessons with AC.
Damn...i wanna go but...cash-strapped...

Thanx to families,relatives,buddies,close frens n extended frens who actually make things happen fer me.

Long time ago in a land where human beings were given odd names...
Lived Mr Taikman,Mr Hans Bruns,Mr Besar Peh Taik Mints Kens Rems,Mr Pokokman....n Wifey Pokok....

On sunday(010707), its another anniversary fer Mr Pokokman n Wifey Pokok...(which they TOTTALY fergot...like TOTALLY!!!)

N yea...the settin of this scene was by the river opposite Fullerton Hotel...

After ice creams from a street vendor, Mr Pokokman n Wifey Pokok sat at the exact spot the sat 1 yr n 1 mnth ago b4 they were together...

After all gibberish n leaves n roots language spoken by the 2, Mr Pokokman decided to play a game with Wifey Pokok..
Here's how the game goes...

Knowin that Wifey Pokok is always good at starin games(Mr Pokokman never won once),Mr Pokokman decided to test her the opposite way...by playin the game he called..."Close ya eyes"...
Mr Pokokman ask wifey Pokok to close her eyes n imagine her worst fear that cud happen to her right there n den...
When asked what her fear was...she said " Since we're by the river..I dun wanna be caught in a Tsunami n die w/o gettin married to Mr Pokokman..
Hearin that,Mr Pokokman granted her wished...
He asked her to open her eyes n den came glowin...THE RING...(thanx Mr Taikman)
n while she is still stunned grenade by THE RING, MR Pokokman pop the question...
n den bla...bla...bla...bla..bla...bla...blasah...

MR POKOKMAN HAD PROPOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the story,(part 1)

On saturday(30.06.07),Mr Pokokman n Mr Taikman when on a mission called "Operation RINGo Star".
The mission was suppose to be activated at 2pm but Mr Taikman came late after a late nyte.It was postponed to 3pm.Mr Pokokman n his sidekick went off to look for The Ring which dat darn Frodo has been holdin fer no apparent reason.
Upon reachin the destination,we found out that the one who has been keepin The Ring wasnt Mr Frodo BUT it was his Aunt!!!!...Mrs Ah Soh Frodo...damn this is confusin..
Whatever it is...
She decided to hand it over to us but strangely w/o havin us fightin fer it,she just hand it to us sayin " This Ring belongs to a Suria Malay Idol" =)

Happily we went off with smiles n stumblin upon the "God Must Be Crazy" guy but this time he is in a Jubah..HE CONVERTED...sadly he still dunt noe his directions n nearly went to the wrong escalator...(n btw ppl,we saw Mr Taikman's ex gf's...clone..older,fairer,wears the TUDS,n she's with 2 kids!!!like omg!

We den head next to a shop attended by Mrs Mals Nak Lays...n we successfully bought the "Horbit Engagement Attire"...dats was ez..(n i did leave my Crysanthemun Tea among the clothes"hehe...

Mr Taikman den decided to buy a T-shirt dontown n Mr Pokokman bought one too.(Remember not to wash it in a washin machine or we will have to pass the shirts to a real Horbit"

Right after that, Mr Taikman found out that he actually "Owns" this 'lil stretch of road behind Peninsula Plaza.Where everyone "xcept me of coz" held their heads low wen they pass by him..(funnily stupid)

N now dat we've taken over the world after claimin the ring from Mrs Ah Soh Frodo,
this calls fer a celebration for the ppl n citizen of ...of...of...hmm..Whatever our land is called!!

The story ends here fer Mr Pokokman n his Buddy Mr Taikman.....
